A PLACE TO LEARN ABOUT THE WORLD, both yesterday's and today's.

The world is incredibly complex, dynamic and ever changing.  It is shaped by multitudes of people, institutions and processes.  There are so many questions about why things are as they are and how they got to be this way, and it is imperative to develop good answers to them if one is to navigate the world successfully.  Throughout the workshop, fundamental issues in current events, as well as global historical topics, will be covered, and participants will gain both appreciation and understanding of key events, patterns, people and processes that shape the modern world.
