A PLACE TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE BETTER, gaining fundamental skills in creative writing

Knowing how to express oneself in writing is an underappreciated yet tremendously beneficial skill.  Not only can it help significantly with school or work related activities, but good writing can serve as an emotional outlet or as a narrative journal or perhaps even be employed later in life in a professional way.  There is really no argument to be made against becoming a better writer.  Throughout the workshop, participants will receive many opportunities to work on their writing skills in a variety of genres and formats, while getting feedback and using their writing both as a means of expression and of personal reflection.  In the process, their writing (including clarity, vocabulary, depth, and persuasiveness) will undoubtedly improve.
